I created Manestream Beauty to promote positive attitudes and ideas about natural hair and beauty in the mainstream.
My natural hair journey has had a lot of ups and downs and through trial and error I have found what works for me and what doesn’t.
Cut, Colour and Style (4 March 2012) was the first event I organised. The idea came from my own curiosity about what styling options are available to naturals who want more expressive hairstyles. Taking a fresh approach to informing and inspiring naturals, I brought talented professional hairstylists under one roof to show styling options forfree-flowing natural hair and locs.
The response was very positive and I am working away on ideas for future events and projects. Check out the home page and blog for event information.
